WAIYA Privacy Policy

What we collect
Your email and password (for login), the name, username, photo and approximate area you add to your profile, your listings and messages, and basic usage data such as which listings are viewed, saved and shared. We do not collect your street address, and we never ask for bank or card details.
What is public
Your public profile (name, username, photo, area, rating, reviews and completed sales) and your active listings are visible to anyone, including search engines. Your email, chats, offers, transactions and saved items are private.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: show listings, connect buyers and sellers, send notifications about messages and offers, prevent fraud, and understand which categories and towns are active so we can improve WAIYA. We do not sell your data.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase and Vercel) on servers outside Fiji, protected by encryption in transit and at rest and by strict access rules.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your profile details and listings at any time. To delete your account and data entirely, email support@waiya.co. Some records (for example completed transaction history and moderation records) may be kept where required for safety or legal reasons.
